M4ware Estimating for Windowstm brings the power and flexibility of large, sophisticated, enterprise estimating systems to every printer.   m4ware is designed to meet the needs of EVERY printers requirements.  If your operation is large or small, sophisticated or uncomplicated you now have access to the same tools used successfully by many of the largest printing companies in the country.   AND for only a fraction of the price.

If your Company has a PC running Windowstm 95 or later, then you are equipped to run the most powerful and flexible computer assisted estimating program available on the market today.   m4ware is the new Windowstm version of an estimating system that has been in use by printing companies both large and small for over 20 years.  The original estimating system sold for over $15,000 and continues to be used effectively and successfully today!   All of the features and capabilities of that sophisticated system plus many new features have been incorporated into the NEW Windows m4ware Estimating System but at an affordable price for every printing company.

Flexibility is the hallmark of this system.  You can establish an unlimited number of operations, cost centers, estimate types, product classes, etc.  Cost Centers (i.e. presses, departments, machines, etc.) may be established with varying rates.  A press can be established as multiple cost centers or multiple presses can be established as a single cost center, although a one-to-one relationship is common.  Operations may be broken down into components for minute details or consolidated into larger functions for lesser details.

Two estimating modules are provided to serve the varying needs of individual estimators.  Both modules give the estimator complete flexibility and control over the creation of an estimate.   The Type I module requires a more detailed entry of operations giving more control to the estimator.   The Type II module automatically calculates press and bindery waste and automatically generates make-ready and washup operations if so desired.  The module used is entirely up to the estimators preference.

Type II Estimating uses a concept called profiles.  Profiles control the appearance of the various windows and the flow of the estimating process.  Multiple profiles may be established to provide a different look and feel for various scenarios.  For example, an experienced estimator may have need to generate estimates at a very detailed level while a less technical individual (for example, a salesman) may need to be able to create quick, abbreviated estimates and quotes using a laptop computer on site at a prospective client.  This is but one example of the tremendous flexibility available with m4ware.

A profile may define a window (which may contain one or more pages of details) for one or more of the following functions: prep, forms (press), press penalties, cutting, folding, bindery, packaging, and buyouts.  Functions that are not defined in the profile will not appear during the estimating process for estimates using that profile.  Estimates may be entered for one or more quantities.   Each estimate may contain one or more forms.

The system will operate as a single-user system on your PC or as a multi-user system on a network.  Standard Windowstm On-line Hypertext Help is included throughout the system and a complete User Manual is also provided in Adobe Acrobat 5.0 (.pdf) format.  A printing company may run as many copies as needed of the system within the company without any additional purchases.  The system is completely self contained and does not require any other support programs or products (other than the Windows operating system).  AND... bug fixes and most enhancements are included at no additional cost.

We are so confident that you will like the m4ware Estimating system that you can download the complete system and try it out before actually buying it!
