The M4ware time keeping and billing system is a Windowstm PC based system used to keep track of billable time in order to accurately bill customers/clients. It is ideally suited for people that work and bill by the hour, such as independent consultants, programmers, or attorneys, to name just a few. The billing and Accounts Receivables functions can also be used by larger groups of small businesses. Clicking on an icon on the Windowstm desktop at the start of the day and then clicking the same icon upon completion of a task accomplish Time Keeping. The user may click the icon when an interruption occurs, such as a phone call or a fellow employee wants to talk, interrupting the time keeping. Reestablishing time keeping is accomplished by again clicking on the icon. Only four entries are needed to log the time that was just spent: a customer code, a cost center number, an operation code, and a brief description of the work that was just accomplished (or interrupted). Time keeping errors can be easily corrected immediately or at any time that is convenient. Any number of employees may log time against any number of jobs for any number of customers. Two separate "Incurred Costs" reports have been provided; one that shows the employee number of the employee that incurred the costs and another that does not show the employee number. Invoices are entered through an invoice entry program that automatically updates the Accounts Receivables system. Credit Memos may be entered through the same program. Discounts, adjustments, and payments may be applied to invoices through a Cash Receipts program that also automatically updates the Accounts Receivables system. Aged customer statements may be printed and sent to delinquent customers at any time. Both the invoice form and the customer statement form may be modified with personalized messages and custom logos. The current outstanding Accounts Receivables balance may be instantly displayed at any time. Customer outstanding balances and history may also be instantly aged and displayed at any time. Reports showing sales and receipts may be printed at any time as well as an Accounts Receivables Aged Trial Balance. The system will operate as a single-user system on your PC or as a multi-user system on a network. Standard Windowstm On-line Hypertext Help is included throughout the system and a complete User Manual is also provided in Adobe Acrobat 5.0 (.pdf) format. You may run as many copies as needed of the system within your organization without any additional purchases. The system is completely self contained and does not require any other support programs or products (other than the Windows operating system).
